Veteran actor Mohsin Gillani has revealed that renowned actress Maham Amir once slapped a well-known personality on a shooting set after an unpleasant remark.

Mohsin Gillani recently appeared on a podcast where he discussed his showbiz career, the deteriorating state of the entertainment industry, and the negative attitudes of some actors.

He questioned why actors and actresses who consider the showbiz industry to be bad continue to work in it.

He further pointed out the hypocrisy, saying that these same actresses who criticize the industry still come to the sets fully dressed up and wearing makeup.

While speaking about unpleasant incidents that occur on set, Mohsin Gillani mentioned that sometimes inappropriate comments are made, which can provoke strong reactions.

Referring to such an incident, he revealed that Maham Amir once slapped a well-known figure on a shooting set over an offensive remark.

He praised Maham Amir, calling her not only a lovely person but also a brave girl, mentioning that her father hails from Punjab.

According to the actor, the slap was in response to an inappropriate comment and echoed far and wide — metaphorically speaking — leaving a lasting impact.

He added that when someone crosses the line with inappropriate remarks, such slaps are bound to happen.
