Live Updates on the Vice President's Oath Ceremony - The swearing-in ceremony for Vice President-elect CP Radhakrishnan is scheduled to occur at Rashtrapati Bhawan in Delhi on Friday, September 12. Radhakrishnan, the NDA's candidate, was elected as India's Vice President on Tuesday, securing 452 votes against the INDIA Bloc's candidate, former Supreme Court judge B. Sudershan Reddy, who garnered 300 votes. Following the election results, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Radhakrishnan, expressing his belief that the new Vice President would uphold India's constitutional values and enhance parliamentary discussions.
