Ever since Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar hit theaters the film has been at the centre of conversations. From its gripping storyline to its layered performances the film has managed to strike a chord with audiences. While Akshaye Khanna’s act has been widely hailed and continues to dominate discussions there is another performance that has quietly impressed viewers. Actor Saumya Tandon who also features in the film recently shared her thoughts explaining how the performances that shout grab instant attention but sometimes its the quieter ones that create an impact long after the film ends. Everybody’s talking about Akshaye but…’ Speaking about the film Saumya Tandon who played Akshaye Khanna’s wife in the film praised Dhurandhars team. She then added “I also want to say one more thing. Everybody’s talking about Akshaye but I have to tell you I love Ranveer in that movie.” Her statement struck a chord with fans who felt Ranveer’s performance though subtle was deeply impactful. Saumya Tandon on Ranveer Singh Elaborating on what she meant Saumya further added “Because you know the silent parts? Being a superstar being a hero. He’s standing behind and giving the stage to Akshaye to do all those nuances.” She further added “He’s very subtly standing behind as an actor and staying silent. I think it’s the sign of a very mature artist.” According to Saumya it takes immense confidence for a leading star to step back and let another performer shine and Ranveer does exactly that in Dhurandhar. Fans React As soon as this statement of Saumya took over social media it went viral with netizens quick to react. One fan wrote “Absolutely true” while another commented “The whole cast did soo well!
