Washington Sundar: On one hand, the Indian cricket team is busy preparing to win the T20 World Cup 2026, while on the other hand, an important player of the team is not fit yet. Washington Sundar's latest health update has come out, according to which this player has not got the clean chit to play and he has to undergo another test on 4th February. According to media reports, this player is undergoing good rehab at the BCCI center but he has not been given the green signal to bowl yet. He will have one more bowling session after which his future path will be decided.

Washington Pretty Doesn't Fit

According to reports, ' washington beautiful Not fit yet, although he made good progress in rehab and did four sessions of batting. On 2 February, he bowled and bowled four overs. Now on February 4, he will have another bowling session in which it will be seen whether his fractured part is able to take the load or not. After that the further strategy will be decided. If Washington Sundar is out then Team India has his options ready. Ayush Badoni and Riyan Parag are playing in India A, both are being considered as alternatives to Sundar. Badoni also performed brilliantly against USA. Badoni scored 60 runs in a stormy manner against USA and along with this he also took one wicket. Riyan Parag is also fit now and he also participated in the match against USA. Team India would like Sundar to become fit but if that does not happen then either Parag or Badoni can be selected.

Team India will play the first warm-up match

The Indian team has reached Navi Mumbai to play the warm-up match before the T20 World Cup. India has to play a match against South Africa on 4 February at DY Patil Stadium. In this match, Team India can field its most powerful playing eleven. Tilak Verma can also play in this. It will be interesting to see whether Sanju Samson will get a chance in this or not.
