JEE Main 2026 Result: Millions of candidates who appeared for the JEE Main Session 1 exam are waiting for updates on the JEE Main result. According to the NTA notification, the JEE Main result can be released any day by February 12, 2026.  Based on this, it is being speculated that the JEE Main result could be declared today, tomorrow, or the day after. All updates related to the JEE Main Session 1 Result 2026 can be checked on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The NTA JEE Main Session 1 exam was conducted between January 21 and 29, 2026. The provisional answer key for the JEE Main 2026 exam has already been released, and the window for raising objections has also closed. Now, everyone's eyes are on the official scorecard, which will pave the way for admission to the country's top NITs, IIITs, and other engineering colleges. Many engineering colleges also offer admission to their B.Tech courses based on the JEE Main 2026 score.

When will the JEE Main result be released?
Looking at the latest updates and trends from previous years, the NTA usually declares the results within approximately 12-15 days of the completion of the exam. This time too, it is expected that the results for Session 1 will be live on the official website by February 12, 2026. This will help candidates strategize for the second session to be held in April. Along with the JEE Main 2026 result, the final answer key and category-wise cut-off percentile are also expected to be released.
JEE Main Normalization Process and Percentile Score

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam was conducted in multiple shifts between January 21 and 29, 2026. Therefore, the NTA will adopt the 'Normalization Process' for the JEE Main results. This means that the score received by the students will not be their raw marks, but the NTA percentile score. This score indicates the percentage of candidates in that particular shift who scored less than or equal to your score.

What is the next step after the JEE Main Session 1 result is released?

After the JEE Main 2026 result is declared, candidates who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for Session 2. The registration process for JEE Main Session 2 is currently underway, with the last date being February 25, 2026. The JEE Main Session 2 exam will be held in April 2026. Remember, the final All India Rank (AIR) will be declared only after both sessions are completed, based on the student's best score.
