CTET 2026 Result: The February session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), has concluded. Over 25 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET exam on February 7th and 8th across 140 cities nationwide. With the exam over, all eyes are now on ctet.nic.in. Every candidate is eagerly awaiting updates on the CTET provisional answer key, response sheet, and CTET result.

CBSE usually releases the answer key within 15 days of the CTET exam. After the release of the provisional answer key, candidates will be given an opportunity to raise objections. It is expected that CBSE will release the CTET 2026 answer key on ctet.nic.in by the third week of February. Following the completion of the objection process, the CTET 2026 result will be declared in the first or second week of March.

When will the CTET Answer Key 2026 be released?
Looking at CBSE's records, the board doesn't take much time to release the CTET answer key. The provisional answer key will likely be released between February 17th and 23rd, 2026. Candidates will be able to download it from the official website ctet.nic.in using their roll number and date of birth. Scanned copies of the candidates' OMR sheets will also be uploaded.

CBSE CTET Objection Window and Process

Immediately after the release of the CTET 2026 provisional answer key, CBSE will open the 'Challenge' or 'Objection' window. This window is usually active for 2 to 3 days. If a candidate has any doubt about the answer to any question in the CTET exam, they can challenge it by paying a fee of Rs. 1,000 (tentative) per question. If the challenge is found to be valid, the board will refund the fee, and then the CTET final answer key will be revised accordingly.

When will the CTET 2026 result be released?

The CBSE board will release the CTET 2026 exam results after reviewing the objections to the CTET final answer key. According to media reports, the CTET exam results are likely to be released by mid-March 2026. The mark sheets and eligibility certificates of successful candidates will be sent digitally to their DigiLocker accounts, and these will be valid for a lifetime. Updates can be checked on the official website.
The CTET exam will be re-conducted at two centers located in Vaishali, Bihar. The board may conduct the re-examination for these centers within the next 15 days.
