After the scenes of the film were leaked, South superstar Thalapathy Vijay himself has also come into action. He has made a tweet on X through which he has told that a complaint has been filed against all those who have shared this leaked video.
While tweeting on Twitter, Thalapathy Vijay said- 'A complaint has been lodged against all the accounts from which clips of Jan Nayakan's leaked video have been shared. The authorities are continuously tracking all the ideas involved in this and there are preparations to take strict legal action against them.

Film producer G Dhananjayan has also reacted to this and expressed concern. He has come out in support of Thalapathy Vijay and Jan Nayakan film. While requesting the people, he wrote – Behind every scene, someone's dreams are hidden. It is very painful for a film to be leaked before its release. Please support the film by not sharing it.

Talking about Jan Nayakan film, according to reports, this film is being made between Rs 300 crore to Rs 500 crore. The film was earlier scheduled to release on January 10, 2026. But due to lack of approval from CBFC, the film suffered losses and its release date kept getting postponed. Even after the cuts suggested by the Central Board, the film became part of the re-examination process and there too the film took a lot of time.
Now reports are coming that this film can be released in theaters on 22 June 2026, on the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay's birthday. But no confirmation has come yet on this. Apart from Thalapathy Vijay, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Priyamani, Prakash Raj and Gautam Vasudev Menon will also be seen in the film.
