South film superstar Thalapathy Vijay made a splash in politics as soon as he entered the box office. He formed his political party in the year 2024. He named the party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK). With this party, Vijay contested the Tamil Nadu elections this year and created history. The election results were revealed on May 4 and TVK emerged as the largest party. Now Vijay's party is going to form the government in Tamil Nadu.
Victory Worked as an actor in films for 33 years. He played many types of characters in his films, but never appeared in the role of Chief Minister in any picture. Even in the film 'Sarkar' released in 2018, his character kept on becoming the Chief Minister. However, at the time of the release of his film, Vijay had said something which he did in real life before entering the electoral fray.
There was a buzz at the time of 'Sarkar' made under the direction of AR Murugadoss that he will be seen in the role of Chief Minister in this film. In the audio launch event of the film, Vijay had clarified that his character in the film is not that of the Chief Minister. In the same event, someone asked him what would happen if he became the Chief Minister in real life. In response to this question, Vijay had said, “If I become the Chief Minister, I will never act.”
