Long ago, a young yew tree stood watching the passing of time from its fairy hill. In fall, the yew tree stood alone with its dull, deadly leaves, while other trees were covered in magnificent golden

To make up for the loss, the fairies inally gave the Yew tree a garment of lawless crystal that sparkled in the sunlight and attracted creatures from the forest. However, the covering peeled away with the sun, leaving only the yew tree. The faeries added new, broad leaves to the tree in the spring, attracting insects and providing temporary happiness.
