The second pitch is similar to the Chennai pitch, where fast bowlers will get help in the first two days.

Given Bangladesh's strong spin attack and their batsmen's good hold against the turning ball, the possibility of a Chennai-like pitch cannot be ruled out in which India's fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akashdeep will play.
But if Gambhir and Rohit decide to use a traditional slow pitch, India could make a change to their XI with left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav replacing Akashdeep.
