The SA20 2025 auction concluded on Tuesday, as the six franchises finalized their squads for the upcoming season, which begins on January 9.
All franchises, except for the Joburg Super Kings, successfully completed the requirement of having 19 players in their squads. As per the rules, each squad must include a minimum of 10 South African players, a maximum of seven international players, a Rookie and a Wildcard player.
Following the auction, the six franchises participated in a Rookie Draft, where they selected one Rookie player each.
While five franchises have filled all their roster spots, the Super Kings still need to pick their Wildcard player.
With the squads finalized, the stage is set for an exciting and competitive SA20 2025 season. Fans can look forward to thrilling matches and intense battles between the six franchises.
