The contestants for Bigg Boss 18 were named last night during the show’s big launch. Salman Khan, who is back as the host, announced that the theme for this season is “time ka taandav.” In the same way as the previous seasons, this one looks like it will be full of high-voltage action. Alice Kaushik, Vivian DSena, Shilpa Shirodkar, Avinash Mishra, Karan Veer Mehra, and Shehzada Dhami are some of the contestants this year.

It was also said that Chum Darang would be there. The actor has been in movies like Gangubai Kathiawadi and Badhaai Do. He is the first person from north-east India to be on the reality show. For News18 Showsha, she said that the only season of Bigg Boss she watched was the one that ran from 2019 to 2020 and was won by the late star Sidharth Shukla. “I haven’t been watching Bigg Boss.” But I keep seeing loops of clips. “But I saw Bigg Boss 13,” she says.

“I really liked Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill,” Chum says when asked about the contestants she would like to be like. They were nice to each other. I also liked Gauahar Khan, who won Bigg Boss 7. I haven’t talked to them, though. “I’m excited for them to see me on Bigg Boss 18.” She really likes Sidharth’s game plan and strategy, though, and wants to keep that in mind while she’s on the show.

She tells him, “I’ve seen Siddharth do things.” He wouldn’t move, but I kept telling him to. From the start, it was clear that he wanted to win. He knew exactly what he wanted. It was great that he always stood up for himself and his friends. I want to play like he does. There are a lot of people who want to beat me. I want to say what’s wrong and stand up for what’s right. I want to fare better than the other people.

There are a lot of TV stars who have moved on to movies over the years, but Chum is the exact opposite. So, did she feel bad about switching from movies to TV? “That’s not how I saw it.” I was asked the same thing by the team, but I really didn’t know the difference between TV and movies. I just found out about it. I did it because I thought it would be fun. A lot of people watch the show and use the site. “I’m sure the competition will be very good,” she says.

Over the years, Bigg Boss has been a big step forward for many people and has led to bigger job possibilities. People often ask Chum if she decided to go on the show because she thought it would help her career. She says, “I didn’t think much about it—whether I’ll get more work or less work after Bigg Boss 18.” I’m having to work, after all.
