CM Nitish opened treasury for Bihar, gave a gift of Rs 1650 crore

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday transferred Rs 1650 crore 33 lakh from Patna's 'Sankalp' to the accounts of the beneficiaries for various schemes of the Rural Development Department. During this period, he gave Rs 113 crore to 34 thousand people to start employment under the livelihood scheme. Also, under the Jeevika scheme, a bank loan of Rs 400 crore was given to 48,500 self-help groups and a bank loan of Rs 537.33 crore was given to 15,314 groups.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister gave Rs 180 crore to 1.50 lakh families for building toilets under the Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan. Also, under PM Awas Yojana Gramin, 1.10 lakh families were given approval to build houses, while 1.05 lakh people got Rs 420 crore as the first installment.

Nitish Kumar gave a gift

CM Nitish Kumar made many important announcements in this program. He said that in the next 100 days, about 2.43 lakh families will be given houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. For this, about Rs 2800 crore will be given from MNREGA and Lohia Swachh Bihar Abhiyan. Further in the program, he said, 'Today I am very happy that Rs 1650 crore has been transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries of various schemes. They will get immediate benefit from this.

Got rid of country liquor

CM further said that through such schemes, those poor families are being helped, who earlier used to make and sell country liquor and toddy. The CM also said that people from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other poor communities are also taking advantage of this. Through this scheme they are becoming self-reliant and their families are also benefiting.

Women becoming self-reliant

CM said that Jeevika Didis are making very good use of this money for their employment. Due to this, women in the state have become self-reliant and many positive changes have taken place in the society. Along with this, he said that the government is working to provide houses to the people in Bihar who do not have permanent houses.
