Azam Khan’s troubles increase, name comes up in case of falsification of documents of enemy property

The problems of Azam Khan, lodged in Sitapur jail, have increased once again. On Monday, he was taken on custody remand in another case. This case pertains to falsification of documents related to enemy property. MP MLA Court has taken jailed Azam Khan on remand. Azam Khan's name has come up in this new case.

A case regarding falsification of documents of enemy property was registered in Civil Lines police station in 2020. After investigation, Azam Khan's name has also come up in the case. Azam Khan was produced from Sitapur jail through video conferencing.

In fact, the matter of removing Azam Khan's name from the fraud case done to grab enemy property was in discussion recently. The government had ordered a high-level inquiry against former SP Ashok Shukla in this case.

Now, after re-investigation, the police have again made him and his son Abdullah accused in this case of enemy property. The investigating officer had given an application in the court to take remand of father and son in this case. After which Azam Khan filed an objection through his lawyer. However, the court has rejected Azam Khan's objection.
