Zara and Mike Tindall brave the rain with their children at Cheltenham races

and braved the rain today to step out to celebrate New Years day at Cheltenham racecourse.

The rain failed to dampen the couples smiles who were captured lovingly smiling at each other whilst huddled under an umbrella.

The couple were accompanied by their adorable three children.

Lucas, 3, was seen cheering on the horses in heartwarming snaps from the races.

Their rarely seen son was spotted smiling and willing the horses on at the meet in Gloucestershire.

Lucas was seen entering the racecourse whilst holding both his mum and dad's hands.

In other pictures, the pair's daughter Lena,6, who is the double of her mum can also be seen enthusiastically leaning against the rails.

Her race day style has become something of an inspiration to fashion-conscious sportswomen and today is no different as the Royal looked impeccably chic for the first meeting of the year.

Zara's hair was swept up off her face secured with a burgundy headband coordinating with her roll neck jumper and her husband's tie.

Her pinstripe navy blue suit wowed race goers and was accompanied with small gold earrings, brown leather gloves and a small handbag.

Whilst Mike Tindall donned a brown tailored overcoat paired with dark beige trousers.

Princess Anne's daughter, and her loving husband, Mike are often pictured at prestigious royal events alongside the wider , such as or even Sunday church service.

Like her mother, Zara is an equestrian star and competed in the London Olympics in 2012, obtaining a silver medal. Off the back of her sporting success, in 2020, she became a director at Cheltenham Racecourse.
