Game Changer trailer Promises an action entertainerDirector Shankar’s upcoming movie Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, promises to be a massy entertainer. The trailer of the film was released on January 2 at a Hyderabad event attended by SS Rajamouli. Shankar is making his Telugu debut with the film.The trailer begins with Ram Charan as an IAS officer advocating against greed and corruption. He is seen pulling off various roles, including a student, a police officer, and most probably a father. The plot hints that he plays his father, a leader, while Anjali takes on the role of his mother. Kiara Advani plays his love interest, but the focus shifts when SJ Suryah enters as a corrupt Chief Minister, setting the stage for an intense showdown.

The political action thriller also features a strong supporting cast, including Anjali, Samuthirakani, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Sunil. Shooting for the film started in 2021 and wrapped up in 2024 after several delays. The movie, with music by Thaman S, was shot across multiple locations such as Hyderabad, New Zealand, Visakhapatnam, Mumbai, and Chandigarh.Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, Game Changer is written by Karthik Subbaraj, with dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra. The film boasts a massive budget, with ₹75 crore reportedly spent on four songs alone. What About the Release?Initially planned for a Christmas 2024 release, post-production delays pushed the date to January 10. However, Game Changer will face competition during Sankranthi from Balakrishna and Bobby Deol’s Daaku Maharaaj and Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam, both set to release on January 12.
