A Dream And Just Rs 10000 Shashi started her journey with just Rs 10000 the only savings she had at the time. it all started in 1971 when she started a venture - ‘Deep Transport’ which Shashi operated successfully until 1975. The first 10 years in the business world were a roller coaster ride for Shashi and were full of struggles. However after establishing Mysore Oxygen Private Limited her hard work began to pay off. She expanded into the tech sector after churning our profits from the business. Entering Tech World In 2005 Shashi founded IZMO Limited a company specialising in market solutions. Today IZMO provides high-tech automotive and e-retailing solutions across America Europe and Asia. It is also listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Empowering Women Apart from her role in the business world Shashi is deeply involved in social welfare through her Deep Janseva Samiti. The DJS focuses on women’s education employment opportunities pension schemes and care for differently abled persons. Her initiatives have improved the lives of thousands of people. Awards and Recognition Shashi has received several prestigious accolades from the Indian Government including the Mahila Gaurav Puraskar in 1990. She was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2024. Beyond these achievements shes also been a part of the management committee for the All-India Industrial Gas Manufacturers Association and contributed at the Directorate of Technical Development.
