Marco’s global box office
The Mollywood film Marco has significant performances from Siddique, Jagadish, Sudev Nair, and Anson Paul in addition to Unni Mukundan. In an Instagram post on Sunday, the directors of the violent thriller film revealed that Marco had broken into the Rs 100 crore club at the global box office.

Produced by Unni Mukundan and Cubes Entertainments, Marco became the highest-grossing A-rated Malayalam film ever.

Shareef Muhammad, the producer for Marco, spoke about the film’s violent undertones in an interview with Red FM Malayalam. “The Censor team hasn’t completely reduced the violence,” he claimed. All they have done is lessen the violence. There will be different levels of violence in every violent incident. Additionally, the Censor Board suggested lowering the level of cruelty if it was excessive. In several situations, it was more savage. However, the Censor removed it since it violated their regulations.

The Malayalam film industry had a strong year in 2024, with blockbusters like Abraham Ozler and Premalu at the beginning of the year and Marco at the conclusion.
