When Raveena Tandon wanted to marry Govinda

Recently Govinda's wife, Sunita Ahuja revealed shocking details about her husband's name linked with one of the top actresses in Bollywood. The two have worked on many films together. The couple's onscreen chemistry was always a talking point in Bollywood. Today we are talking about Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon. The duo is popularly known for doing films like Andaz Apna Apna, Akhiyon Se Goli Maare, and Pardesi Babu. During a conversation with Govinda's wife, she revealed the actor's relationship with Raveena Tandon. She even revealed that if Raveena had met Govinda earlier, she would have probably married him.

Talking to Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja revealed, "Chichi (Govinda), if you had met me earlier, I would have married you. I told you to take me, then you will know (sic)." Not only that, Sunita further revealed that Govinda's name was frequently linked with other co-actresses like Shilpa Shetty and Manisha Koirala. She added, "We all used to have a lot of fun and eat together after the shoot (sic)."

When Sunita Ahuja raised her children alone

Not only that, Sunita even stated that Govinda was mostly busy with his career while Sunita raised their children. Since Govinda's shoot was mostly outdoor shooting, she travelled with him. She said, "We did not even get to see him. He would just come home and sleep for a few hours. By that time Tina (daughter) was born, so I was completely busy with her and my mother-in-law. So it did not matter much to me (sic)."

She further revealed, "There used to be a lot of outdoor shooting. They used to go to Shimla, Kashmir and I used to be with my child, so I did not know about the time. Sometimes we also used to go with them for shooting in places like Madras, and Hyderabad. Whatever time we got after pack up, that was ours (sic)."

Govinda-Sunita Ahuja's marriage

For the unversed, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in March 1987. The couple welcomed their two children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja. Tina was first seen in the 2015 film Second Hand Husband. Apart from films, she was also seen in music videos like Milo Na Tum (2019) and Driving Me Crazy (2020). On the other hand, Yashvardhan Ahuja is set to make his Bollywood debut in Sai Rajesh's Ek Anokhi Prem Kahani.
