Ferne McCann says 'no more' as she breaks down in tears on air

Emotions ran high on on Friday when host brought tears to Ferne McCann.

Wrapping up their chat, Christine said: "Before you go, we have a little message for you. A very special message from a very special person, Ferne. Here she is."

A pre-recorded clip of her daughter Sunday appeared on-screen. She said: "Hello mummy, good luck for Dancing on Ice this weekend. I hope you get through for next week. Love you."

Overwhelmed by her daughter's message, Ferne was moved to tears. She replied: "I said no more tears! Oh that's such a surprise. Oh darling, thank you. That is so special."

She then expressed her amazement at her camera-shy daughter's participation and shared her appreciation for the heartwarming gesture.

Ferne added: "Oh thank you, that's such a lovely moment! " The reality star also spoke about her granddad, aged 94, being set to attend next week's show, should she advance.

The reality star added: "Yes! He's 94, he's coming next week, hopefully, if we get through. It's a full family affair and they are just all so, so excited and so happy. They love tuning in."

Next weekend promises another treat as they gear up for a Trolls movie-themed performance for the much-anticipated Movie Week.

However, there will be one less competitor on the ice as actress Chelsee Healey bid farewell to the show, becoming the first celebrity to be eliminated.

A tearful Healey confided in her partner Andy Buchanan post-exit: "I feel, personally, there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with, so I couldn't completely focus. I'm just really grateful, I've had the best time."
