Mayor Mahesh Kumar has directed action against the illegal spa, Oyo Hotel and unauthorized restaurant in Delhi. Mayor Mahesh Kumar directed the Public Health Department of Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) to take strict action against the illegally running spa center in the capital, unlimited restaurants and unauthorized Oyo Hotel.

A directive to take action against the illegal spa center, unauthorized restaurants and unauthorized Oyo Hotel was issued after a meeting chaired by the mayor. Deputy Mayor Ravindra Bhardwaj, Municipal Health Officer Lallan Ram Verma, House leader Mukesh Goyal and all 12 MCD zone Deputy Health Officer (DHO) were present in this meeting.

He instructed the Public Health Department to implement strict measures to close illegally operated businesses and formulate a concrete action plan.

The Mayor insisted on increasing the revenue of MCD. He said that unauthorized businesses often avoid necessary approval and license fee, causing the corporation's financial loss.
