WhatsApp has started testing two new features in its Android beta version. The Meta-owned chatting app is now adding the Meta AI widget, which will allow users to access the Meta AI chatbot without opening WhatsApp. Apart from this, WhatsApp has also started the feature of AI-generated group icons for some beta testers.
Through this, users can create custom icons for groups with the help of Meta AI. In WhatsApp's 2.25.6.10 beta version (according to WABetaInfo), some beta users have got the option to create group icons with the help of Meta AI.
How to use?
- Go to a group's icon and tap the pencil icon.
- Now you will get a new option named “Create AI Image”.
- After selecting this option the Meta AI prompt screen will open.
- Here you can enter any text prompt and choose from one of the many images generated by the AI.
Meta AI Widget - Use AI Chatbot without WhatsApp
WhatsApp has added a new Meta AI widget in the 2.25.6.14 beta update, which users can add to the home screen.
Benefits of Meta AI widget:
- You can chat with AI chatbots without opening the WhatsApp app.
- Buttons like Ask Meta AI, Camera and Voice are provided in the widget.
- Users can ask the AI questions via text, photos, or audio.
- Users who are using the stable version of WhatsApp will need to open WhatsApp and tap on the Meta AI floating action button (FAB) to access the Meta AI chatbot.
