Neha Kakkar’s Melbourne concert has raised new controversy. The artist had previously blamed the delay in the event on the mismanagement of the event organizers, but they have since reacted, disputing her assertions.

The organizers refuted Neha’s claims as unfounded, adding that their firm absorbed the costs and incurred substantial losses from the debacle.

Neha was late for the concert by several hours, which caused frustration among the crowd. After facing widespread criticism on social media, she blamed the organizers for being unprofessional, stating that they had accepted her payment and vanished.

As a reaction, the organizers released a statement on Instagram, assuring to show proof and shed light on what really occurred. They promised to reveal the complete details. The management team’s representative later referred to the show as an utter failure in a Facebook Live and asserted that everything required was arranged even though Neha complained.

The organizers also claimed that Neha would have to pay them for the losses incurred by them. They denied her claims by stating that several cars were booked for her, luxury hotels were reserved, and all the expenses were paid for. A budgetary breakdown was also provided to her that worked out to ₹4.25 crore.

They ended by confirming the charges were all false and that they ended up in serious debt following the event. They regretted partaking in the event, further adding that initiating contact with the artist was a mistake.

Earlier, Neha got extremely bad flak when the fans blamed her for being a professional as she kept delaying. She apologized on stage and tearfully tried to explain herself, but some of the audience members were still not satisfied and criticized her, stating, “This is not Indian Idol.”

The instant Neha stepped onto the stage, there were some people who accepted her apology, applauded, and cheered for her, while others continued to vent their anger and shout slogans against her. Addressing the audience, she said, “Guys, you all are so sweet! You’ve waited for so long. I don’t like to keep people waiting. I’ve never done this in my life. But you all have been waiting for me, and I feel awful.” She further said, “I’m really sorry! This moment is very special to me. I will always cherish this evening. You all have taken out valuable time for me, and I assure you to make you dance your hearts out.”
