Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, criticized the Yogi Adityanath administration on Tuesday, claiming that its B.R. Ambedkar-inspired zero poverty initiative will turn out to be just another “jumla.”
Akhilesh Yadav said on social media site X that just as the government’s “zero tolerance” reached zero, so too would its “zero poverty” turn out to be the BJP’s jumla.
“Zero was given to the country for mathematics, not for spreading lies to the public,” he stated, criticizing the administration. Work, not lip service, is the key to ending poverty. There is no work being done by the BJP administration. When they go, everything will be reduced to nothing. He intensified his assault by claiming that the BJP could only mislead the public by rebranding previous programs as “Ambedkar village” and “Lohia village.” The BJP should examine the circumstances in the chosen villages and deposit Rs 15 lakh to each account before making any fresh pledges.
“Just remove the layers of dust that have gathered on promises like water for every family and a home for everyone first. “Don’t lie to the poor, at least,” the former chief minister said.
Akhilesh Yadav condemned the assault on Jain munis who were sleeping at a temple in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, in a different post.

According to the SP head, these violent acts make the minority population feel uncomfortable and instill dread in a secular nation.
He said that such actions undermine social harmony and deter an ambitious, peaceful, non-violent, educated society-community, harming the nation’s social cohesion and overall progress.
