‘The Whisper Man,’ a criminal thriller starring Robert De Niro on Netflix and AGBO, is expected to see Michael Keaton join its ensemble cast.

According to Deadline, the movie is based on Alex North’s book of the same name and centres on a widower crime writer who, when his 8-year-old son is kidnapped, turns to his estranged father, a former police detective, for support.

Alongside De Niro, Adam Scott, and Michelle Monaghan, the picture has an excellent ensemble that includes John Carroll Lynch, Hamish Linklater, Owen Teague, and Acston Luca Porto.

Fans of both performers are thrilled about the possibility of seeing them together on film for the first time since “Jackie Brown,” and Keaton’s involvement is allegedly a cameo.

Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer are adapting the screenplay, and James Ashcroft will helm the movie.
AGBO will be produced by Michael Disco, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Anthony Russo.
According to Deadline, East Coast production is scheduled to begin this spring.

After the success of “Mosul,” “Extraction,” “The Grey Man,” and “Extraction 2,” this movie is the sixth Netflix and AGBO partnership.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ are jointly produced by AGBO and Marvel.
