Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday termed the new US sanctions imposed on Iran’s oil trade as an “unwanted act” and said that its aim is to damage the country’s economic development and the good of its citizens.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bakai, while strongly condemning the restrictions imposed by the US on Iran’s oil and energy sector institutions, individuals and ships, described them as an “repressive sanctions” and said that this is a clear evidence of American policy makers’ enmity towards Iranian public.
