What is the age limit?
For the constable recruitment in Odisha Police, the age of the candidates should be at least 18 years and a maximum of 23 years. Age will be calculated from 1 January 2024. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

How will the selection be done?

In Odisha Police Constable Recruitment, the candidates will first have a Computer Based Test (CBT). After this, there will be physical tests, driving tests, and medical tests. The computer-based exam will be for 100 marks. 100 questions will be asked in it. The exam will be of two hours.

Physical parameters
Height- 168 cm for unreserved/SEBC (male) and 163 cm for SC/ST (male).
Chest- 79 cm for unreserved/SEBC (male) without inflation and 82 cm after inflation, and SC/ST (male) chest 76 cm without inflation and 81 cm after inflation.

Physical efficiency test
In the physical test, candidates will have to run. They will have to do board jump and high jump. This will be qualifying. In this, a 1.6 km run in 6 minutes, a 4-meter board jump (three attempts), and a 1.38 meter high jump (three attempts) will have to be done.
