Meet beauty queen who worked in C grade films, leveled shocking allegations on her husband, made comeback after 9 years with HIT

We have seen many successful supermodels and beauty contest winners in Bollywood. But not every model has the potential to be a big hit. Were going to talk about an actress today who won a reputable beauty competition. She is a well-known model throughout the world but regrettably her Bollywood career ended abruptly and she has seen some serious difficulties in her personal life. The actor in question was the fourth Indian woman to win the Miss World title but she was unable to find success in the film industry despite her exceptional beauty and talent. She worked in C-rated movies before entering into the world of pageantry. Controversies also surrounded her private life. Today were talking about Yukta Mookhey who accused her husband of harassment. Born into a Sindhi family in Bangalore on October 7 1977 Yukta spent her first seven years of childhood in Dubai. In 1987 her parents returned to Mumbai. Aroona Yuktas mother had a grooming business in Santa Cruz while Inderlal Mookhey Yuktas father was formerly the managing director of a garment company. After school Yukta completed studied zoology. In addition she has three years of classical Hindustani music training under her belt and an Aptech diploma in computer sciences. From Miss World 1999 to box office flops Yukta Mookhey competed in the 1999 Femina Miss India pageant and won the title of Miss India World 1999 from the then-champion Annie Thomas. Her victory qualified her to compete in Miss World and represent India. On December 4 1999 the 49th Miss World pageant took place in Olympia in London with 93 delegates from all around the world vying for the title. Yukta Mookhey defeated ninety-two delegates to win the Miss World title making history as the fourth Indian to do so following Reita Faria in 1966 Aishwarya Rai in 1994 and Diana Hayden in 1997. Following Miss World Yukta Mookhey received multiple offers for acting roles and she decided to advance in her profession. She made her debut in film with the 2001 film Poovellam Un Vasam starring Ajith Kumar. Yukta received an opportunity for a Hindi movie shortly after her Tamil premiere and she starred in Pyasa (2002). Aftab Shivdasani starrer was a box office disaster. Later she was locked for the 2003 film Market but she was forced to leave because of an injury. Yukta Mookhey signed Hum Teeno and Kab Kyon Kahan in 2003 but both projects were shelved. She was withdrawn from Insaaf The Justice. After a nine-year break Yukta made her last movie Good Newwz (2019). She hasnt worked in another movie since then.
