Gujarati Fafda: Homemade Fafda and its delicious vegetable on Dussehra

Dussehra Special Gujarati Fafda Recipe: Dussehra is approaching. As soon as Dussehra comes, Jalebi and Fafda come to mind. This dish is eaten in every house on this festival. Today we will tell you the method of making Fafda at home.

Ingredients for Making Lungs

  • Gram flour
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying – 4 tbsp
  • Try 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for frying – as required

Gujarati Fafda Recipe

  • In a large vessel, add gram flour, celery, asafoetida, baking soda, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt and oil and mix.
  • Then, keeping this flour slightly separate from the roti flour, knead this mixture with the help of water. Then cover the kneaded mixture and keep it aside for 20 minutes. – After 20 minutes, make small balls of the kneaded mixture.
  • Now take a wooden board or plate to roll the lungs. – Then place the luva on the board and slowly roll it out a little longer or cut the roti into long shapes with the help of a knife.
  • – Then separate with the help of a knife and keep in a plate. On the other hand, heat oil in a pan, when the oil is hot, deep fry the lungs well on medium flame.
  • Your lungs are ready. Sprinkle chaat masala over it and serve hot with chutney and dum.

Besan Curry Recipe

  • Take two spoons of gram flour in a bowl. – Add water to it and mix well.
  • – Take one spoon oil in a pan. Then add mustard seeds, dry coriander, chopped green chillies, sweet neem leaves and turmeric and mix.
  • – Then add curry mixture to it. Then add salt, sugar and lemon juice. – Then let it cook for 7 minutes. So your lungs curry is ready.
