On January 24, the Telugu states will see the premiere of the Malayalam film “Identity,” which was directed by Akhil Paul and Anas Khan. In only two weeks, the film—which has Tovino Thomas and Trisha in the key roles—grossed over 50 crores in Kerala, making it the first blockbuster of 2025. Despite the film’s delayed release because of the Sankranthi holiday, Mamidala expressed optimism that Telugu fans would enjoy its action-packed material and positive reaction in Malayalam. He also expressed his hopes for the film’s success.

Chintapalli Rama Rao went on to say that “Identity” had already achieved great success thanks to its astounding box office receipts and that he hoped Telugu would see a similar level of appreciation. Director Akhil Paul expressed his enthusiasm for the movie’s possible success in Telugu areas and commended the team’s commitment, particularly that of lead actor Tovino Thomas.
