Amarwara (Madhya Pradesh) [India], March 2 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath on Saturday lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that they talk of "big game" but remain silent on unemployment. He said that Madhya Pradesh was the most corrupt state."There was a limited number of villages here that had electricity. I made it possible for every village to have electricity through Vidyutikaran. We still have huge challenges, especially the future of our youth. BJP talks big game, but doesn't speak on unemployment," Nath, former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, said while addressing the gathering here. Holding the BJP responsible for "tarnishing" the image of the state, the Congress leader said that Madhya Pradesh was the most corrupt state. "Ye tasveer aaj hamare saamne hai, sabse bhrasht Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh (It is in right front of us, Madhya Pradesh is the most corrupt state). The BJP has tarnished (the state). The entire country doesn't have as much corruption as MP does, and BJP has no answers," he added. While speaking at the event, Kamal Nath lashed out at the Station House Officer (SHO) deployed there and said that he should protect his uniform, implying that the police personnel was loyal to the BJP. "I tell police personnel to respect their uniform. Everyone should listen carefully - how long will this uniform last? We will also see. There are some who hide their BJP badge, but there are some who wear it on their chest," Nath remarked. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav reacted to senior Congress leader Kamal Nath's statement at the Global Investors Summit, saying that the state's industrial growth rate was negative during Nath's time. Speaking to the media, CM Yadav emphasised that his government has made Madhya Pradesh one of the fastest-developing states in the country. (ANI)
