The holy month of Ramadan has started and it is considered the ninth month of the year according to the Islamic calendar. Throughout this month, people of the Muslim community worship God and keep fasts. Some special rules have been told in Islam for keeping fasts, on the basis of these rules only the fast is considered complete. If these rules are not followed properly then the fast can be broken. Is it permissible to have sex or not?

In the holy month of Ramadan, if physical relations are made at night then it is permissible. Night lasts from sunset to dawn. But having physical relations during the day in Ramadan is considered haram and it is one of those things that breaks the fast. Those who have physical relations during the fast will have to do Kaffarah i.e. atonement for it along with Qaza. On the other hand, if a person kisses his wife on the forehead during the fast, then his fast is not broken but this makes the relationship even stronger.

Allah made the order easy

When Allah first ordered to keep fast, it was forbidden for Muslims to eat, drink or have physical relations after sleeping at night. But this order bothered some of them, so Allah made it easy for them and allowed them to eat, drink and have physical relations at any time during the nights of fasting, whether they are sleeping or not.

This is the remedy for the sin.

It is haraam for a man and a woman, who are required to fast during Ramadan, to have physical relations during the day. There is a sin in doing so and Kaffarah is mandatory for it. The Kaffarah for this sin is to free a slave and those who are not capable of this should fast for two months continuously and those who are not capable of this should feed 60 poor and needy people.
