On the eve of his 60th birthday, Bollywood legend Aamir Khan shocked all by revealing his girlfriend Gauri to the world.

At a casual media interaction in a hotel in Mumbai, Aamir revealed about his personal and professional life before he presented Gauri to the gathering.

Aamir and Gauri sat down with the media and told them their story. They met 25 years ago, Aamir said, but lost touch with each other. They got in touch again a few years back and have been together for the last 18 months.

Speaking to reporters, Aamir quipped, “See, I didn’t let you guys find out, did I?”

He also said he had conditioned Gauri for the spotlight of the film industry and the publicity from the media. For her peace of mind, he has even put private security in place.

Aamir disclosed that Gauri had been living in Bangalore and was already wedded once. She also had a six-year-old son.

To conclude the interview, Aamir made a reference to his 2001 blockbuster film Lagaan, saying, “Bhuvan finally got his Gauri!”

It is worth mentioning that reports about Aamir Khan and Gauri’s relationship had been circulating for the past month.

For context, Aamir Khan was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has a son, Junaid, and a daughter, Ira. Later, he married Kiran Rao, and they had a son, Azad.

Aamir and Kiran broke up a couple of years ago but are on good terms. Aamir even made Kiran Rao’s movie Laapataa Ladies last year.

Earlier, Renowned Bollywood star Aamir Khan is once again making headlines, this time for his rumored romantic involvement.

According to Indian media reports, the 59-year-old actor is said to be in a relationship with a woman from Bangalore.

Sources close to Aamir claim that he recently introduced her to his family, and the meeting reportedly went well, with his loved ones warmly receiving her.

Despite the circulating speculations, Aamir Khan has yet to confirm or address the news publicly.

The actor has been married twice before. His first marriage to Reena Dutta began in 1986 and ended in 2002.

He later tied the knot with filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, but the couple separated in 2021. Aamir shares two children with his first wife.
