In an old interview as reported by Times Now the actress opened up why she did not have the best of experience while shooting for the film Shor. It was a Manoj Kumar directorial that starred Jaya Bhaduri and Nanda. It is then when the actress spoke her mind to Kumar. As per Times Now report Bachchan felt uncomfortable with his gaze and as he would repeatedly asked her to adjust her clothes in a way offended her. As per IMDb she did call her a bully Gunda hai kya - and said that his Bharat image was all a façade. Actually Jaya Bachchan was angry at Manoj Kumar because she was not called for any trial show. She also called Manoj arrogant. On this Manoj had said in his clarification that the trial show was held only for the purpose of editing. The movie was not even completed at that time. He had cast Jaya for Shor after watching the film Guddi and the character of the film was written keeping her in mind.  During the shooting days of the film Amitabh Bachchan was dating the actress and used to be a regular visitor on set. While Jaya never worked with Manoj Kumar again Big B was seen with him in Roti Kapdha Makan.
