Jamie Laing triumphantly completed his gruelling 150-mile run for Comic Relief, raising an incredible £2 million.
Exhausted yet victorious, the podcast host and former Made In Chelsea star, 36, reached the end of his epic challenge in Salford this Friday evening.
The final leg saw Jamie participating in the Comic Relief Funny for Money show where presenters Joel Dommett and Alison Hammond stopped proceedings to commend his achievement.
A weary Jamie staggered onto the stage after his harrowing Ultra Marathon, with the hosts stepping in to support him. Alison, 50, remarked: "I was watching you on Instagram and you looked like a broken man! I've just seen how you walked out, how's the body?" to which Jamie candidly replied: "The body's bad! I should have just taken the train here, way easier!"
Joel then unveiled the awe-inspiring fundraising total of £2,053,835. Overwhelmed by the enormous support, Jamie expressed his heartfelt gratitude: "Thank you guys, thank you so much!"
On Twitter, now X, fans rushed to laud the star for his phenomenal feat. Amongst them, one admirer expressed: "Jamie Laing deserves the biggest round of applause for running 5 ultra marathons in 5 days with absolutely no training to raise money for comic relief. Absolutely amazing, Well Done Jamie #RedNoseDay #ComicRelief #JamieLaingUltraMarathonMan.", reports the Mirror.
Elsewhere, another wrote: "Having followed his #ComicRelief challenge all week, I feel genuinely proud of everything Jamie Laing has achieved", and another voicing admiration: "Fair play to Jamie Laing raising 2 million that's mad #ComicRelief". Meanwhile, a third supporter praised: "Over £2,000,000 raised by Jamie Laing. Fair play Jamie. #ComicRelief."
Jamie was engulfed in waves of cheers from an enthusiastic crowd as he triumphantly concluded his Ultra Marathon Man quest in Manchester on Friday, where festivities for Red Nose Day were set to take place.
After crossing the finish line, an elated Jamie was seen sharing a heartfelt embrace with his wife, reality television personality Sophie Habboo.
Jamie previously said he was dedicating the challenge to those who might be suffering, especially from their mental health, referencing his own challenges dealing with "crippling anxiety" in his 20s.
